Students learn to count (add) using Australian coins and notes. The activities are sequenced, starting from simple counting of ones and gradually increasing in difficulty.
Students learn the difference between $1 coins and $2 coins, between $5 and $10 notes. A two dollar coin is equivalent to 2one dollar coins. A five dollar note is equivalent to 5 one dollarcoins and a ten dollar note is equivalent to 10 one dollar coins.
